I am a California girl, born and raised in the Valley. I recently graduated from California State University Sacramento with a degree in Economics. I was fortunate to have the most amazing Professors who advised me to forgo grad school at the moment and follow my dreams of joining the Peace Corps.
Let me tell you, making the decision to move abroad for 27 months was not easy. After a few months of debating if I would actually do it... I applied. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE... I hope.

While enjoying my last semester of undergrad, I officially received my invitation to become apart of the Peace Corps in Cameroon. Cameroon was very high on my list of countries I wanted to be invited too and finally it would become a reality.
I enjoy challenges and cannot wait to begin my
adventures abroad, experiencing other cultures and learning the language. Parlez-vous Francais? Moi? Oui ;)
Finally, I have been blessed with an amazing family and friends who have provided me the support necessary to get through school, work a full time job and still enjoy life. I would not be where I am today, so I thank you all for having faith in my crazy ideas. :)
